I. PRESENTATION OF AKWA MINING SARL
AKWA MINING SARL is a Congolese private limited liability company, duly registered with the Commercial and Personal Property Credit Register (RCCM) under the number CD/KNG/RCCM/25-B-00295, and identified by ID.NAT.: 01-F4300-N60780NA. The company's registered office is located in Kinshasa, at 114 Haut Congo Avenue, IPN district, Ngaliema Commune.
AKWA MINING SARL also operates regional branches in the province of Haut-Uélé, which serve as focal points for gold exploitation—particularly in the territories of Dungu and Nyangara. In the territory of Watsa, the company is currently undergoing administrative procedures to expand its operations there as well.
Since its establishment in 2022, AKWA MINING has been engaged in the production of raw gold extracted from gravel sourced from several-meter-deep pits. With the revenue generated from this artisanal production, the company has been able to acquire basic equipment to increase productivity and address its growing operational costs.
Despite a pressing need to establish an investment budget to modernize its production processes, this ambition remains constrained by a lack of adequate financial resources.
With the goal of developing a more intensive, profitable, and value-generating mining operation, AKWA MINING aims to acquire modern gold extraction and processing equipment, including hydraulic excavators capable of producing at least 12 tons of gravel per day, thermal furnaces for gold melting, and ingot molds (lingotières).
However, the company's limited financial capacity, stemming from its predominantly rudimentary operations, stands as a significant obstacle to this modernization. This situation has therefore led the company to seek financial support from the Fonds de Promotion à l'Industrie (FPI) — the national Industry Promotion Fund.
